Heidi Sands Poet Personification

Reflection

Look at me, you will see yourself
Maybe a little shaky, with my ripples…
But, clear nonetheless
Do you feel the peace I offer you?
Is it showing on your face?
Does my movement along the shore soothe you?
I offer laps of sound to listen to, one by one
Or maybe you will want to take a dip with me
Come in, cool off!
Dive into the reflection of yourself
Come out renewed!
I am here, I am waiting
For you to be cleansed
And walk away with freedom!
