Reflectio

again I'm dragging myself in the silence and the dark,
as if it's normal to be lost
among the many layers to hide the light
and the voice that the body has,
but really I just wanted to find out
in which part of us that sounds and shines delicately
that we really should be
and I would like you to also help me to know
how much concentrated light we could find
in that fraction of us that doesn't know the verb to hurt,
because after all what you and I do here,
besides wasting the chance to illuminate the winding road
we traveled scared and alone?
I shouldn't even comment,
but it's important that you also know:
yesterday when I looked in the mirror
I saw us all trying not to suffer.
wouldn't it be the exact time to eliminate who we are
and just exist without being?
