Rest in the moments poured out with the rain, silent stories, meant to reveal God’s truth… Every ache, each sorrow, throughout the worst pain, there is a gentle knowing that love is the way… Rest in the news that God has come to save us from sin, know He’ll never forsake those He forgives… Every dark moment, despite the shadows, He will win, because He is love and that gives peace within… Rest in the light that flows down from His home above, see what it means to believe in a Savior’s mercy… Every tear is wiped away by the assurance of His love, never stop believing in the One who arose… Rest in the promise of a heart who is always here, willing to forgive all the worst of your past… Every story of hope grows dim compared to what is clear, this love is alive and flows from inside those who believe… Rest in the wonder of a Savior who can heal the worst, with His gift, His healing, He is eternally fulfilling… Every heart is blessed by this Hope who quenched our thirst, this is the song – love that once wept is holy, accepting… Rest in the knowing that God must love us more, He breathed life into our souls, grace that will always assure… Every heart who believes – the hearts who truly adore this Savior – who gave us His Holy blood… to wash away our sins, wash away all the dark within, to restore us to the God who has been… faithful despite all the shame we have known, trustworthy despite all the blame that’s our own, reliable despite all the fears who’ve been so cold… God is the One who told us to come… to the foot of the cross, where His love was shown, when we repent of our sin, there is glory forevermore when we let love seep in, we become saints who live life for Him when we feel the faith and hope, we know what it means to be redeemed.
