Red White and Blue

RED WHITE AND BLUE

The Red, white and USA blue
 independence in S.A.—not so true

to live in a place-  a land so free
the home of the brave---appeals to me

Red…


the color of blood that silently flows
people still fighting—own rights to impose

White…


the wrong cultured skin color to be
‘previously disadvantaged’ now are we

Blue…


misplaced hope becoming fears
heartbreaking emotion—shedding tears


USA—IF ONLY I WERE THERE
