Red, White, and Blue

It wasn't meant
To be like this
A tender lie
A broken kiss

Plastic smiles
Lead the way
Flapping jaws
To ruin your day

Corporate henchmen
New endeavor
Golden meadows
Lost forever

Fleeting thoughts of
Peace once yours
It's time to stand
Defend our shores

The patriots heart
Bleeds tried and true
The color of blood
Red, white, and blue.
