Red Rum
Our highlight annual trip to Aintree,
Extreme Excitement, full of cheer, glee,
The Grand national for us to view,
Only one amazing horse for me and you,
fences to jump, four miles to run,
Top Trainer Mister Ginger McCain,
He Couldn't possibly win this again,
Everyone says it can not ever be done,
Beechers brook, Valentine's, and the chair,
Such a hard race, all forty declare,
This amazing horse runs and jumps for fun,
Stay safe my son we say, because we care,
Off he goes, big job to overcome,
Third win, it's the most famous RED RUM.
Red Rum won the grand national ( horse race) at Anitree Liverpool England three times, never been done again. Poem Inspired by poem by Damian Cranney.
