Hello Candide, Your use of imagery is very stark and a deep reflection. The contrast between the golden angora and the absence of purple creates a compelling tension. I love how you inked in Lavender Street and the church, adding layers of meaning. The red invitation and the calm lavender are striking symbols. Beautifully done. It is interesting that we both wrote and posted a poem this week using Red in the title - Blessings, Daniel

Thank you. I will have to go and read your poem using "Red". I was unaware of it. How intriguing. My poem emanates from a recent conversation re: cremation. Lavender St, is a real Street. The Church is Anglican.
