Notes About The Poem

There are always times when we meet people and have problems in remembering them clearly. Good memories need to be cherished.

Recognition

I know you from somewhere
                            Have we met before?
                           In the shadows of my mind
                            Where darkness overrules,
                           I feel familiarity.

                           I recall the memory and
                            Light shines in the remembering.

                           Time has moved us on
                            In separation, but I recall
                           Earlier days which I can
                            Touch again with gratitude.

                           I know you from somewhere;
                            We met long ago for a while.
                           I hope that life is being kind to you.

                            May we meet again one day.
