Rebuffed

It was a first trip to Europe for Maiden Hews
Who was shocked by the statues of nudes.
She thought it a sin
To show so much skin
Some of which obviously struck her as news.

LOL this made me smile Paul - my mum had some old books owned by her maiden aunts - any statue pictures were either coloured in or had 'clothes' added to them ... how times have changed!lol:-) Hugs Jan xx

That's funny--your aunts diligently making the statues modest. I value your comments because I always learn from them; I value your poetry because I not only learn from it, I am inspired by it. Hugs always.
