Reborn On Calvary
In the darkness of day,
we, the tear baptismal ones
were reborn
In the shadow of Calvary,
we, the gospel seed
was crucifixion conceived —
A bereaved delivery
On that Golgotha noon night,
the Day Star died
And our mourning cries
had three days
of cradle grave
Silent ultrasound whys
Adam and Eve paradise bliss
was umbilical ended by a tempting hiss
Astray questions asked amiss
Out of the dawn midnight despair,
we, the ewe confessional few
were born again
Out of the shadow of a rolled rock,
we, the gospel flock
was Resurrection led
from the womb of doubt tick-tock
On that Garden of Gethsemane rebirth day,
the Morning Star revived
And cast all our sins in a bottomless grave
And that ere dark shadow o’er Calvary
passed away
In the blessed hour of SonLight reverie
