Reborn
Reborn here now without baggage,
there’s nothing to weigh me down.
I’m like an unsullied package
that shines like a white bridal gown.
I am smiling. Oh, can you see?
Reborn here now without baggage,
I can do anything. I’m free,
and I have every advantage.
With joy I know I can manage
the trials that soon I will face.
Reborn here now without baggage,
all life I’m prepared to embrace.
Perfection I know can’t last long.
With time, there always is damage.
Praise to God though will be my song -
reborn here now without baggage.
