Realization

Realization... You had said you wouldn't do this anymore, Remember making that promise to me, But then I knew when you stumbled into the door, You were lying to try and make me happy, With drink after drink you slowly fade away, Looking at me with that smile of yours, Still saying It's going to be ok, As your now laying on the floor, Scream after scream but no one seems to hear you, Things start to become a little more clearer, You notice what you have to do, And stop yourself from looking into the mirror, Finally starting to realize, That It was you all along, You just needed to open up your eyes, So you can start to move on, Knowing that every drink was slowly tearing you apart, You know what you have to do, Make yourself a new start, In becoming a better you,
