Reality Over Fantasy
Reality Over Fantasy
I got to say thank you for what I’ve been through
I couldn’t have made it to where I’m at without you
And it’s not even half-way over…I’m still sober
Lord, tell them to stay sober.
So many blessings all misunderstood…
They use your name in vain and you’re the one they blame
My God, explain that it isn’t a game…
That it’s your way or no way
Can you tell them to pray?
You’d love to hear from all, so no one slips and falls
But reality over fantasy, it’s too much of a bother to make the call
They’re living a fairytale within those tiny cells
If they could reach out to you
They would find the truth and not feel so overwhelmed…
Tell them to take their mind, body, and soul back; it’s not for sale
Lord, I’m making this promise to always speak of you, for there’s never an overcapacity
Let’s show them a better way and change the reality over fantasy
Into dreams that come true way beyond over-seas.
