Real Tracks
If my train of thought took to tangible tracks,
(Tracks not abstract but real, in fact)
It would jump and twist--
flash and dash--
In lands where trains are yet to whistle,
With green rolling hills
Where thoughts soar like missiles.
I would stay a long time
(As long as I could)
Speeding so freely where no man has stood.
