Real Love
When I’ve made it through life on this earth
And I’ve been called to my eternal home
There isn’t a doubt I will have a wonder
Awaiting me in the form of heaven divine
When I see the splendor of my celestial home
I know I will be speechless and so worshipful
The sight of a heaven that holds the spirit of God
Will be more alive than what I’ve ever hoped for
The perfume of my heavenly home above
Will be more powerful than any scent on earth
I know that the smell alone will send me pleasure
That can only be imagined while in this world
When I taste the food that God bestows on me
I will be sure to acknowledge how greatly He blesses
With delicious nourishments that I might dream of
If I could only have an imagination so very daring
The sounds that come from around the throne
Will be the voices and instruments of angel’s songs
More musical than any sound I ever heard before
There is no way to describe the beauty I’m in for
When I touch the hand of the One I’ve always loved
There isn’t a doubt that I will be thrilled beyond words
I’ll kneel down before Him and praise Him for all He’s done
Giving me salvation so that I might make my entrance above
There in the heavenly realms will be every possible joy
Amid the love that flows through the God of true love
There will be more praise than my ears have ever heard
And I know that, without a doubt, there will be pure tranquility
When I’ve made it up to the home of God above
I will lay down all the worries and stress, the grief
That seems to follow me around in this world
Up there, in the future, I will know all about real love
