Notes About The Poem

Gothic Horror: A Brief History of Carnival Fortune Tellers

Reader of Stars - Collaboration

The carnival rolls in on trailers with scars, and among them is a reader of stars. She can read your heart or so it seems, can see within the woman of your dreams. Can see past all your sorrow like a knife, to tell you that peace will enter your life. Those stories of childhood that you acted out, where your wish was to be a princess no doubt. Well, a lovey future for you she can foresee, she says there is a prince for someone just like me. _______________________ September 7, 2020 Poetry/Rhyme/Reader of Stars Copyright Protected, ID 20-1284-064-03 All Rights Reserved, 2020, Collaboration Constance La France and Line Gauthier Written for the contest, MAX 12 LINES - poem-inspired prompt sponsor, Line Gauthier
