Read Me For Awhile

Verily, verily I say unto you
His blood was shed for me and you
And though his high , he's brought so low
For great his love, that was a clue

Will for a moment thy take thine bow
Or run towards his loving arms
But lo, beloved where art thou?
Upon the lake of sin you swum.

You said thou love thy creator's act
And was amazed by his sacrificed
But still on sin you love to rock!
Doth his death do not suffice?

Now take a pause all loving friends
For things on earth will come to end
Shall then it profit to thine all
If thou gain the world and lost thine souls?
