If you have loved
Read these words
If you have grieved
They are for you
If joy has bathed you
Golden bright
If you have breathed
in summer sweetness
these words are yours.

If you have hated
     Deep and dark
       Longing for blood
            And death

If you have ached
  When love bit
      And spit you out

These words are yours….
 You who have
  longed
   To end your life
         And touched
               A willing knife

These are for you….
When pain
  And sorrow
Drown your joy

These are for you…..
These simple words

These are for you…..
These words of hope

These are for you…………

  In beds of pain
   The darkest hours
          with blackest hearts

These are for you…
    Aching in grief
       Alone 
            tasting the honey of despair

These words are yours:
Look to the
        The Midnight Hours
    Who wait to kiss the Dawn
