Am I in your mind
Am I in your soul
Am I in your heart
Or are you just blind
Am I the one you can’t let go
The one you can’t from part
From love one can’t ever hide
Bur down deep you know
Still neither one is ready to make a start
Distance marks the love that’s felt
Between the two of us
Miles are a burden needing to be overcame
Love knows no boundaries that can’t with be dealt
What I feel for you is a completeness of honesty and trust
Pardon me for saying so and for this I’ll take the blame
But I can’t help but for you feel the way I do
You’re my living angel and my very bright shiny star
You took the time to show me a different way
Now all I seem to see is how I long to be with you
You deserve to be loved and I do love you for the man you are
I think of you constantly every single day
Something tells me we stumbled upon something between us extremely true
Yet I have to keep loving you from afar
And I have this feeling intuitively that you feel for me somewhat the same
Although you are a master of disguise
And can keep your feelings pretty much tamed
Be still and bestow my beating, bleeding heart onto you
I watch closely on you for the signs
You are so sincere and so very true
I’ve said that to you so many times before
Will you take it
And make it yours
Or let it fall aimlessly onto the floor
Cutting me quickly and deeply to my frightened core
As bit by lonely bit
The bloods drops all around
While I watch you walk out my door
Hearing your footsteps pat hurriedly onto the ground
Will you leave me here simply because you believe love is blind
Or because I am the very one that consumes your heart, soul, and mind
