Read 2 B Read

The delight about poetry
Is that we all live and learn
And for our writes to be read
We all have to earn

And we learn by reading
Other poets writes
For its a learning curve
And strengthens our mights

Its not always possible
For our words to be graced
But its what it brought us
To be here in the first place

Employment and families
Take up much of our time
But if we read to be read
Our writing will climb

Inspiration is absorbed in many ways, many times it will lie dormant and like a moth to
the flame, an attraction sparks ones imagination. I only know too well, as my mind appears to
have a few hard drives. May all your words flow, and your lives glow >> James..........

You sure got my appreciation on the first verse. You earned my reads on your writes. Thank you for reading my beginners poetry. Believe it or not "words" is my first poem ever. I wrote it when I entered the soup the first day. I am glad to know the poets here are nice to read my junk. P.D.

Required reading for all poets. I like your perspectives. I find them appealing. Thanks for your remarks. They do mean a lot to me! So, you really live near Loch Ness! God, imagine if you are the one who gets the irrefutable snapshot. I hope you have your t.v. appearances lined up. I get the BBC over here, so, I'll be watching, earthling...

This is all so true, James. Loved this writing. Who, or what, inspires you to write when you go through a dormant period? Is there a favorite poet you begin to read and all the words start coming out? Is it your atmosphere? Love, anger? What fir YOU generally works? Just curious.
