Reaching the Clouds

I reach for the clouds
But on my way up...

I am caught by the wind
Carried this way and that
Swung gently back and forth
Like a baby in a cradle
It tickles my stomach
And nestles my cheeks

I am showered by snow
Sprinkled gently
Chilling my body
Landing on my tongue
Sparkling on my eyelashes
A pillow for my head

I am staring at Earth
Far below my feet
As gorgeous as ever
Picture perfect image
Crystal clear
Caught in my head forever

All on my way up
Reaching the clouds...

Hmmm, a lovely write. I LOVE the imagery used in this. I read this thrice as well. :p Keep penning, poet. I see your talent.
