Reach Out
In sailing the fastest tack is a broad reach,
Sails both billowing and bird's wings,
Wind pushing, lifting, hull raising to plane screech,
Physical Therapy gleams & tunefully sings,
By "Reaching Out" like leaping whales breach,
Heartbeat increasing, beads of sweat glistening,
Reaching a challenge does teach,
By contrast missing a beat stings,
Making the most in "Out Reach",
Bow waves sprout as navigating in rings,
Around the buoys we steer and find our niche,
Steering clear of "rue-ings" setting sail for "doings"!
