Rays from Corner of Mind

Between the orphan and his god lies truth silent, guarded, enduring....
His world remains the same, yet shifts in taste, in wind, in every turning path...
The world stays what it always was only his waking heart feels new....

Love arrives in borrowed forms, a costume masking steady beats...
Emotions open slowly, testing hidden souls that sing behind disguise...
Life’s turning wheel shakes every heart joy leaps, fury rises, yet we endure...

A joker guards a buried self, his real face sleeping in an unmarked grave...
He lifts others to soaring heights, though shadows whisper quietly of the past he hides...
To smile for all yet shield our wounds this quiet craft becomes our strength...

Moonlight spills its silver glow, the night sky shimmering soft and bright...
It lights each street in its own way, guiding every quiet traveler through darkness...
Fear and dullness fade from the heart, chased away by its calm, gentle shine...

Happiness takes its daily fee, gathered gently in the name of sacrifice....
Health, love, friends, even familyfade as life demands its quiet dues....
If all we chase bows down to money, why is joy the one thing it refuses ever to buy?...
