Congratulations on your win. Your "Ravens Cry" is a creative Lanterne write/picture. Is your new name Mrs. Poe??? Hahaha!!! Have a blessed day/week......................

lol Paula. There are times when I get in Poe mood, but not to the point that he did, although I greatly admire his poetry. Thank you.

Ravens cry above my head a lot every day. I caw back. Now I'm worried about the birds. Nice poem.

I’ve always felt eerie when I see or hear them. Thank you, Hilda.

Reminds me of Alfred Hitchcock's "The Birds". Now how about a happy poem? Ive had enough dark poetry for one day. Death will come soon enough! Good to see you, my dear. Hope you had a super day!

Okie Dokie, Danny. I’ll write something more lighthearted.

Well written Lanterne, Lin. It makes sense to me that the crying out leads to death. Have a great week, my friend. Bill

Thanks a bunch, Tania. The first word I saw when deciding what to write for a Lanterne was raven, and so this was the result.

Hi Lin--this poem sounds like you were 'channeling' Edgar Allen Poe :-) eerie but I liked the smoothness. Have a splendid evening, Sara

Thank you, Sara. Lol the difference is I can pull myself away before I channel too deeply, and I don’t hear heartbeats beneath my floor.

Spooky! Given no prompts for these I'm sure we could analyse each poets go to haha!

The thought of ravens and crows brings out the Poe in me. Thanks, Dilly.
