Okay!! Rats are very intelligent. Those very large ones like field rats or wharf rats are even more of a problem. If all food sources are put where they can't get to them helps, rat poison helps, but the stink when it dies and it can't be found is horrible. I don't know if those larger rats are too smart to get caught in a trap or not, but I am thinking they could be. Thanks for sharing this one with us and for thinking of making your friend laugh. A king was in my home a few weeks ago, I finally eliminated him by sealing up every passageway he could possibly get in. Unfortunately, I have a soft heart and opened up a space so he could escape because I kept hearing him trying to scratch his way out (lol) BOL in the contest with this very well done haiku, Ink. ~Charlie

It is remarkable that you are able to transmit such depth of meaning in such a lighthearted manner while using just a few number of syllables in your Senryu expert composition and beautiful imagery. Your carefully chosen words did an excellent job of conveying the issue, and I think that all she needs to do to solve the situation is take in a stray cat and get rid of those rodents.

Ahhhahaha! I can’t! The diversity of your words for every occasion regardless of what, is amazing!! And in such a few words! You get the message across that we should all need to! What else can we compare it to? Interesting one.. Cheesy poo is quite a disgusting image.. I really do not like rats or mice.. It is the diseases they carry, such disgusting and horrid creatures... Strangely enough one of my radio presenters was talking about rats on air today.. How she found them disgusting too.. The king of rats must be quite a rat.. why does this rat have green eyes? Funny one for this contest, nice to see your sense of humour..

Green eyed rat- Hmmm, I bet he's one mischievous and quite troublesome one! I can't believe the way you've beautified this with golden trap, that's just insanely brilliant lol! He rules like a king- Ahhh, it's funny to think when animals and creatures can rule in other's homes but even the humans can't rule their own lives haha.. I hope Sabrina gets rid of them soon.. This one made me laugh a lot btw, I had never read something as funny as this from you, quite new for me haha :)
