Rarely Is There Change Left Over
the only thing
that one can
be certain of is
death and
change
changing times
more changes
over time
more c/t
change this to that
change in the pockets became plastic
plastic becomes digital bits in a changeless world
they say that a changeless world
is a dead world
change ends with death or does it
taxes and debts from the past
are collected from the survivors in the future
rarely is there change left over
and if there is
it won’t be there long
