Rant of the Broken
If you only knew what you do to me
Play with my heart strings so gracefully
But you seem not to care
Of how you rip me to shreds like a bear
Your strong jaw bites down releasing all my air
Leaving me weak and without a prayer
Why do you hurt me so
When all I wish is to share my soul
Are you truly so oblivious
That you don't see the obvious
You're breaking me in two
When to your heart I've always been true
Am I too much?
Or not enough for you?
That you discard me so easily too.
What do I have to do?
Tell me and I will do it
Just as long as you're willing to go through
Through the process of change and growth
To receive finally what we're owed
Happiness...
Yeah... That sounds like a lovely road.
