Ram's the Man

A prayer or pleading is kyrielle
a cry of longing, a simple spell
to God we’d cry, yet, friends are told
Dr Ram’s words are better than gold.

So true you see, he’s mortal man
our goodly friend yes, but understand
He’d not want this, to pray so bold
Dr Ram’s words are better than gold.

A handsome, fine, and caring man
yet, no rival to God’s working plan
The best of man’s riches, I now hold,
Dr Ram’s words are better than gold.

And one can find no better teacher
than our Ram [besides a preacher]
So raise a cup and let knowledge unfold
For Dr Ram’s words are better than gold.

You are a real friend, Debbie, making me feel quite nearer to your heart and muse. I would try to be what you expect me to be in your words, Thanks again. I am reading all poems again and so I came again to read it. You have rightly given due both to me and God. (My name is on one of the Hindu God Ram)hahahah.

such a difficult form that I haven't had the courage to try one yet. You do it with such grace and skill. Dr. Ram will be enchanted, for sure and a winning entry for the contest, for sure, Deb. You rock girl!!!! Lainie

oh,I love it, Debs. MAN. I love kyrielles too and you went and used a kyrielle. Dang, people are coming up with all these great ideas to do contests lately and they are ideas I wish I would have come up with! I think my muse is simply asleep lately. This is one of the best I've seen in this contest!
