Rambling

RAMBLING

My thoughts are rambling from one thing
to the next, as this week is so full and so
packed with things to do, stuff to get that for
the last hour I was wandering from dancing
swing and disco for my dance presentation for
the week-end, switching to my drawing for my
class tomorrow and then singing the song I need
to sing live in class on Friday while also thinking
of the things I need to get for the upcoming party.

With my rambling thoughts, I am writing this poem.
With my rambling thoughts, I am straying from one
activity to the next, dancing, drawing, singing, writing.
With my rambling thoughts I am also thinking the things
I have to do and get to be ready for the big event of
my life, celebrating me with my children and siblings.
With my rambling thoughts, I am also excited to see
and have fun with my friends and my grandchildren.
I feel lost with no direction, rambling on for the day?

Enjoy your day Marilene Evans October 7, 2021 at 8:25 AM I had been sketching since I was a child, like dresses, faces; but never went to a drawing class. People always tell me I have a good/voice and kind of bold singing in karaoke. I love to dance, nobody can stop me on that. Now that I'm retired, I can do all that. Learning how to really, really draw, so I'm taking drawing classes and also taking voice classes to learn breathing techniques and to hold my voice, higher or lower. Most of all, I had this crazy idea to hire a dance instructor to show off Swing and Disco dances to my guests in my birthday party on Saturday.
