Raise a Glass&Burn the Past

Raise a glass.
Let's make a toast.
You&I.
We can burn the past.
At times when I feel like I will lose all sanity.
I look into your eyes and thank all that's holy for bringing you to me.
Let's light a match and strike it.
Burn the past that brought so much I want to forget.
A past filled with much torment and tragedy.
I have a heart with no regrets.
I will lay down this final sacrifice.
Just to give you life.
I'm not afraid to give you this gift.
I place in your hands what you so long have desired.
An act of selflessness.
Let's raise a glass and burn the past.
This is not a life that you can waste.
You only live once so let's burn the past.
The future is ours to embrace.
This world will be ours.
We won't stop at nothing.
