Rain's Dance

RAIN’S DANCE

 Life nearly in hand
 But lay far from reach
 Peace I seek
 Like I was meek

 Come quickly I pray
 Like predator dash to prey
 Death knocks not today
I look to live another day

In this one thing I hope
I hope for a lifelong gone
 Long gone like summers end
 Summers end for waking winter

 As peaceful as war
 As far as near
 As high as low
 As fair as life

 Smiles sprouting from the crypts
You gotta act fast, forget the scripts
 Only this, catch the drift
A day far from here, I lift

 THE INVINCIBLE PEN

Very good this dance with contradictions typical of an invincible pen!
