Raining Into Dark

Raining into dark

In realm of darkness
with all hopes lost,
Walking to the unknown
I dared not stop,

When no one chose
that path of loneliness,
Wishful beyond real
I went directionless,

Then tiny raindrops
subtle and serene,
Came to my rescue
to wash away my grief,

Echos of little joys
set my heart to resonate,
Tugged at the strings
harder to elucidate,

Insinuated life
into my dejected being,
To nurture the soul
and brush it deep !!

Rain can be a cleansing experience for the soul, my Dear Dr Upma....That last stanza is so powerful. Hugs, my dear.
