Rainfall In the City

The rain beats down
        on city streets
Cars whizz by in
the downfall
    Sitting indoors watching
the city scence
             from my window
I see buildings covered
     in grey clouds
   Our lives are often
touched by rain
          Too little sunlight enters
into our days
      Yet we survive
As long as we gaze upon the
 clouds overhead
         We will have hope
All storms end eventually
    The storm which is
our life shall end
       Let the afternoon
find its own answers
        we'll wait with hope
 always with hope
