Raindrops Fall Like Teardrops

Raindrops fall down like Teardrops
as this child's fear of the unknown
fills his heart with doom
His life is balanced with only gloom
Never smiles Never talks
Only pain as he walks

Raindrops fall down like Teardrops
as he hides the bruise's beneath his clothes
Broken an blue as he is abused
Never knowing always confused

Raindrops fall down like Teardrops
As he pretends ever things alright
He suffers ever night
From the hands of someone dear
His life is full of fear

Raindrops fall down like Teardrops
as the pains to much to bare
he takes his life as no one cares

The Raindrops stop with no Teardrops found
his life meant nothing to no one who cared
Love an hurt are in the same
someones life is not a game.

Hi Anita! This your first contribution to Soup comes with strong emotions; sadness and pain prevail throughout; the repeated first line of each stanza is very effective. Thank you for visiting my poem! ~ Regards // paul

Anita, Welcome to Poetry soup, I hope you enjoy the community. Here, you will find friendly poets who enjoy supporting one another. I myself, enjoy reading and commenting those who want to be read. The only time I give constructive criticism is when a poet desires it. However, if for some reason the poem is not my field I will guide you to someone who is more qualified than I. Stop by and read one of my poems if you like. My poems are not perfect, but I have a feeling you might like one. I encourage you to check out the contest page and read to receive comments. Tell me a little about your poetic skills if you like. It will be my pleasure to follow and read every poem you post from here on :) We are Lucky To Have you. Your New Poet Friend @-> LINDA <-@
