Rainbows At Night
Carefully guarded secrets
and
deeply felt emotions
explode at night
to form
a rainbow
on which
we can place our most cherished hopes
the colors we
will see
are reflected in
pools left by
the rain
Deep inside us
are vibrant hues
struggling to break free
Even on the darkest of
nights
they will come forth
and lights shall be
shed
upon places which
have not yet been named
we will view
a veritable natural kalidiscope
Before a blazing dawn
bursts onto the scene
