Rain Song
Drip drop
titter tatter
hear the raindrops
pitter patter
falling faster
growing fatter
hit the ground
splash and splatter.
Prattle tattle
swish and swizzle
hear them make
the sidewalk sizzle
pitter pitter
drip and drizzle
falling softer
start to fizzle.
Drip drip drip
they tap the pane
drip drip drop
they start to wane
rush gush
the gutters drain
hear the music
of the rain.
