Rain Is Like a Song To the Ear
RAIN IS LIKE A SONG TO THE EAR
The outpouring of rain
Nurtures life
Signals the spring of life
A welcome feeling of warmth and freshness
Sometimes soft and sometimes heavy
Just as someone deeply in love
Wanted his affection free and true
As truly inspired he hoped a favorable “yes”
For you, his Lady aspired for always
It’s not easy and comfortable but when it showers it rains!
Acceptance would ring and tune a bell
For everything goes with the rain
Just like a song to the ear
Serenading a love one from the heart!
