Rain In Lieu of Snow

If we have precipitation, in any situation, let it be rain in lieu of snow. For me, that is the way to go. If it must rain, then let it flow. Let it be warm enough to be like spring. I am sick and tired of this winter thing. I'm sure many other times it's been told. I don't want anymore of the cold. inspired by another member's poem

As I sit here in a snow packed refrigerator...trying to care for my chickens and rabbits everyday...wind chills as low as -5, I say amen....very nice...come on spring

We don't get snow very often down here in the swamp, but it has been COLD. Like you I am very tired of this winter thing.

Yes I agree, Rain needs to be in place instead of snow! I do like some snow, around Christmas, but then I just want rain...no ice, sleet, or freezing rain, nor especially snow! Just rain, but alas this year...it has been almost all snow all winter long...and frigidly cold too! You poem hits on this subject perfectly! I surely loved reading this delightful piece this evening! What a beautifully written poem, Great Work!!
