Rain Farm

Storms begin with wind
gray skies roll in
waves in cloud
corn field shroud
ocean tides abide
my soul inside
thunder scare
lightning flare
white light flash
rain soaks crash
red barn scents
field drenched fence
front porch rocking
dry as stocking
misty morning dawning
fog so haunting
