Very nicely done my friend. Good imagery. One typo: second line from the top. `pavement`instead of payment. God Bless, JB

James, this haiku embraces so many senses: sound, touch (warm pavement) and even the scent of rain. Some friends say they can't "smell" rain, but I can when it falls on city streets or grassy lawns. Such a delight! (Did you mean "pavement" instead of "payment"? I guess it could be taken either way as rain is a gift (or payment) from nature.) Love, Carolyn
