We are finally getting some rain after a brutal summer, I know for some the floods are overwhelming but for my area of the country it is most welcome!

It's strange how rain chooses to inundate different areas while others are dry and parched. Thanks.

It is hilarious to me to think of the Earth's skin toughening with rain, but that is only because I am sinking into the ground here. I really like the concept of earth having skin; I am trying to figure out how to borrow this, with your permission.

Of course, think of it as "acid" rain; it sheds a whole new light on the subject. The landfills with their toxins don't help either. Of course if you live in a place where there's clay, yep, it hardens some and although you sink a bit; it can be hard to pull the foot out. Thanks again.
