Rain

Piter patter on the roof,
Splashing puddles cuddle together,
Clouds free from their burden,
blessed upon for the receivers.

Tumbling to the ground,
undetermined path for the future.
waiting and falling,
With no strait away,

Like tiny petals drifting down
Water dancing in the air
a ballet of liquids,
Swooping and leaping in the air
when they are done they lay to rest.

Sounds like a good time to read a book or snuggle with a good movie. Your words paint a very vivid picture, Elissa. Great write!

Great imagery! It was a fun little former hurricane yesterday. :-)
