Rain
Rain
Rain pours,
Torrents pass,
Winds sobs, cries,
Thunder roars, screams,
it takes over the senses,
all I feel all I hear,
is the rain,
I can?t see,
I can?t hear,
all consuming,
Drowns all else out,
door is open refuse,
Shelter exists, ignore,
don?t want relief,
Rain washes,
but never clean,
running from all protection,
no memory of why,
push aside comfort,
ignore relief,
don't want help,
numb, proud,
independent,
Rain pours,
Washes away,
self,
but does not clean,
Washes away,
away.
