Rain

Sitting by the window drinking my coffee Watching the rain falling from dull leaden skies. It’s as if a gray drape is drawn about me And I no longer hear the crow as it cries. It is peaceful and there is nothing I see Because the rain draws a veil before my eyes. But I am comfortable and dry inside As I watch the rain storm and simply abide.

Always good to be on the inside looking out in these situations. You paint a nice word portrait here Tom
