Rain
I may watch it rain
To some it sounds so insane
Just water hitting the pane
But this tames my minds pain
So I may just watch it rain
Hear the sounds of the winds
The tap of drips and drops creates an uneven tune to my ear
Staying warm and dry while it’s so cold and wet out there
Water falling from the sky
It’s like a magic to my eyes
Nature playing it’s game
The cat looks like a drowned rat in this rain
Somewhat relaxing to me
I feel a sense of my mind being free
I feel I can truly and fully breathe
That’s what the rain does for me
So I’ll sit quietly right here
Touch the glass and see the water disappear
I’ll find it strangely eases my pain
So I may just watch it rain
