Rags and Riches
"On the right is the poor, on the left the rich, in between a road to nowhere"
When they said that you haven't truly lived life
It's true if you've been only on one part of the divide
While the divide is small, it's also big
For how can you explain the huge disparity
One wakes up with the sun on the east
While the other sleeps when the sun rises east
For even during the night he needs to make a living
He tells himself that he'll rest when he's on the grave
The one on the left always wants to be right
While the one on the right is always left
Left to wallow in the emptiness of opportunity
For survival comes to them first, other things follow
The divide is so big that most would be walking on their side
Trying to get a chance to cross over to the other side
And very few do manage to cross to the left
But it takes a lot for its hard to spot signs when you lost
The only direction they know is one way
Never have been on the two way
Where its a case of give and take, call it connection
While those on the right can barely get a call picked
But as long as the sun rises from the east
And sets on the other side, west
It shows that they're not any different
It just takes different times for the sun to be on their side
