Raging Bull
All the world’s a stage
When a Bull is filled with rage
Tormented by the confrontation
Of its doomed
Reality.
Feeling the pain from deep within
The Bull rages on
Terror knows not its name.
Nor fearlessness
Its anger
knows no bounds
all it sees is the red
of its own flesh and blood.
Spilled conspicuously on the ground.
As it swirls angrily
‘round and ‘round...
As the noble beast eventually
Stumbles to the ground
Its only memory
Is of the loud “ole’s” shouted
From the thundering crowd
And the rage it feels within.
Raging from within
A victim of wordly sins
Its inevitable death
Holds no power over him
The Bull rages on within.
He rages on within.
