Radiance
sliding down behind
The clouds.
Even their soft
Obfuscation
Fails to hide
Such brilliant radiance.
The world will turn still,
And time
Keeps on passing.
This is fine though.
Even a star
Needs a break from your smile.
I long for the time I
Can say
"Good morning, rise
And shine,"
My own sunrise, framed by your lips.
