Raceing My Shadow

I raced along a garden path so fast I could not see. There was no time to smell the flowers no time to search my soul. I raced on toward the mountain top I couldn't reach the goal I set.I tried with all my might exhaustion forced me to stop the one who drove me to the wall. I turned around to see the one I raced was me!
