Quirky Brain Waves

The connections are brittle And don’t work like they used to Sparks are a little dimmer Sometimes don’t work at all She has quirks and phobias She has to live with Disorientation a familiar state of mind Emotionally unstable So easily distracted Thoughts out of sync With what comes out of her mouth Thinking she lives to avoid people And fight the headaches She’s slow and suffers from anxiety At her best when she doesn’t remember What she can’t remember AP: Honorable Mention 2020 Submitted on December 29, 2018 for contest BRAINY BREVITY sponsored by MAUREEN MCGREAVY

I think it very interesting that "I’m at my best when I don’t remember What I can’t remember" for I feel this is our most relaxed and wisest state. Good luck in the contest, Line.
